Wish upon a star

Thursday, April 24th, 2008

Last night I had a serene moment

when I sat in the patio and looked up at the sky

It was full moon,

the dark sky was clear,

moonshine glowing,

surrounded by the stars

which sparkling like diamonds,

the precious jewels on the sky,

how pretty they were,

I starred at the twinkle stars

fascinated by their beauty,

it remind me to something about wishes,

it remind me to this sweet song

which then I slowly sang :

When you wish upon a star
Makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires
Will come to you

If your heart is in your dreams
No request is to extreme
When you wish upon a star
As dreamers do

Fate is kind
She brings to those who love
As sweet fullfillment of their secret drowns
Like a boat out of the blue
Fate steps in and see’s you through

When you wish upon a star
Your dreams come true

Angel Without Wings

Have you ever realized that a smile you gave could pleased someone?

Have you ever realized that some proper words you said sometimes could be helpful and supportive to someone who needs it?

Have you ever realized that sometimes just simple things we have done could become a manner of caring to others?

I’ve just learned that loving and caring could be showed by some ordinary things I’ve done in my daily life, something that maybe I’ve never been realized about,

I’ve just learned that just listen to a friend’s share about her/his problem and showed some empathy could be a big favor,

I’ve just learned that being a shoulder to cry on is not a big task to do, just be willing and it might became an encouragement to others,

I’ve just learned that I don’t have to be near-physically- to show how much I care to my beloved ones, I could show them my caring, loving and affections from a distance not by physically touch, but by touching their minds from the deep of my heart,

I’ve just learned that I don’t have to be like Mother Teresa to show how much I care to others for she’s a real angel who dedicated her entire life to the poor, how can I be compared with her?

But I’ve just learned that I don’t have to be somebody extraordinary to become an “angel” who do loving and caring, I could be just being me and myself, doing all the ordinary things but have my presence meaningful to others in more simple ways,

Have you ever thought about the meaning of your presence among anybody around you?

I think about my joy of  sharing something I have to others so they could sense it as my loving and caring to them

I think about how blessed I am to get the chance to be meaningful to anybody around me as I thought about how fortunate I am surrounded by the people who loved me

And for that I give thanks to the LORD with my greatful heart.
